Complete Engineering and Fabrication Capabilities, with over 150 years of combined experience.
Our engineering department is where the success of all our projects begins. Our talented team is experienced and trained in the latest software tools including AutoCAD and SolidWorks. From original model drawings to working closely with our shop technicians, our engineering department is committed to not only designing solutions that work, but solutions that work for you. Their involvement and management of projects from conception to completion ensures a high level of quality.
Our shop technicians share over 150 years of experience in a variety of applications. Our shop capabilities include:
The majority of fabrication projects require a high level of skill, beginning with engineering drawings that demand accurate measurements.Cutting with manual or powered equipment such as torches and CNC cutters, bending with CNC presses, and assembling with welding, adhesives, riveting, and other methods are part of most projects' procedures. Our machine shops are built to handle any fabricating project, large and small. A&H Custom Machine has been involved in a number of notable projects, including the fabrication of the Tuned Mass Damper for Taipei 101 and the Royal Alexandra Interprovincial Bridge.
A&H Custom Machine machine shops are fully equipped to fulfil your company's general machining requirements. We are dedicated to providing our customers with the best possible service, which is why we conduct quality checks at every stage of the process. Quality is vital to us, which is why our Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures are extensive and stringent.
CNC Machining Services
We operate out of two modern machining centers with cutting-edge technology. In Burlington and Hamilton Ontario, both our shops have over 20,000 square feet of area. They are outfitted with cutting-edge technology such as cranes, boring mills, grinders, presses, lathes, and welders. But as impressive as our machine shops are, we are even more proud of our expert team, which includes CWB certified welders, designers and engineers who ensure all parts and components are precise and reliable.
Boring Mill Work
Boring is a manufacturing procedure that involves enlarging a hole that has already been drilled or cast in an object. Typically, the parts arrive with a small hole already drilled in them, and we utilize a variety of machinery to expand the diameter and/or depth of those holes. The procedure can be highly difficult and should only be undertaken by professionals. Even a tiny temperature difference might have an impact on the ultimate result. Our professionals are as knowledgeable about the boring mill process and do everything possible to ensure that our clients are satisfied with the end product.
Our technical team has extensive power schematics, PLC wiring, and panel layout knowledge. We recognize that generating high-quality, technologically advanced electrical panels entails more than just making a machine or room component. It's all about assisting our clients in increasing their productivity and, as a result, improving their bottom line.
A&H Custom Machine has two large machining centers with a variety of specialized equipment and technology to assist us in designing and building custom machines to meet your business's demands. Our engineers and machinists are highly experienced experts who like nothing more than designing and fabricating technology tailored to our client's specific demands. To ensure that each product designed for a client meets or exceeds expectations, we employ a team of engineers, AutoCAD experts, designers, and machinists.
Complete F.A.T. Runoff
The Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) Runoff aims to find and solve any defects in machines or systems before the installation process begins. This allows the client to be up and running quickly without worrying about any potential manufacturer quality issues. Conducting FATs in-house with the client present is the most effective technique to identify if the project requires any further work before fabricating the final machine or product.
