Working together with a partner in the Netherlands and operating as an ABB integrator, A&H owns a patent on a debanding system that is designed and built to suit the application.
A&H does all the machining, welding and fabrication, including building the head, winder, PLC panels and custom programming. A&H does all the F.A.T. and installs and configures the customized debanding system on location.
A&H fabricated these furnace doors for Dofasco, otherwise known as 'tapping' doors. A&H took care of all aspects of this project, from machining, to welding, to assembly, to third party weld inspection to priming of the finished product.
A 24' x 22' (x 7' deep) steel test frame was engineered by A&H for the Factory Acceptance Test. A&H's comprehensive QA/QC process was implemented to ensure full traceability of the project and customer satisfaction.

A & H was picked by the architectural firm as we were one of the few companies capable of working on such a large piece made of thin gauge material and one of the few suppliers able to fabricate the very complex bend angles required for the piece.
This carousel was just one component of a large ingot processing line built by A&H. Measuring over 50' in diameter, the entire project had to be shipped overseas and was thus designed in a modular fashion to be easily disassembled, shipped and reassembled at the customer's site. A&H performed all the fabrication, machining, quality control and pre-assembly on this project in our large facility. Due to the nature of the application, fabrication tolerances were extremely tight. A&H shipped the product on time, on budget and within all specified tolerances.
